Who we are

Your account

• You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
• You sign in with your email address. Keep access to it secure; you are responsible for what happens in your account and studio.
• If you create a studio for a company, you confirm you may act for it, and the company is bound by these terms.
• Apps you connect (ChatGPT, Claude, Codex and others) act for you with the access you allowed. You can stop an app spending credits or disconnect it at any time in Settings → Connected apps.

Beta

Vexel is in public beta. Features may change, be limited or be withdrawn, and the service may be unavailable at times. We do our best to keep your projects safe, but keep your own copies of anything important.

Credits

• Generations, renders and other paid work use credits. Every generation is quoted before it starts and you see the cost in credits; a failed or cancelled job is not charged.
• Free credits granted at sign-up or as promotions have no cash value, cannot be transferred and may expire.
• Plans, credit packs and their prices are listed on the pricing page. Paid credits are sold only through Vexel itself, never inside third-party apps such as ChatGPT.
• We may correct credits granted or charged by mistake.

Payments, renewals and withdrawal

• Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in EUR. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel; you can cancel at any time in Settings → Billing, effective at the end of the paid period.
• Credits are digital content supplied immediately. When you buy, you ask us to start supplying it at once and acknowledge that, under EU consumer law, you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once the credits are added to your account. Credits you have not used remain refundable where the law requires it.
• If something went wrong with a charge, write to us first; we answer within 14 days.

Your content

• You keep the rights you have in what you upload (scripts, images, audio, video, references) and in what Vexel generates for you, to the extent the law allows rights in AI-generated material.
• You give us the licence needed to run the service for you: to store, process and send your content to the AI model providers you choose, and to show it to the people you share it with. We do not use your content to train AI models.
• Generated output may resemble other people's work and is not guaranteed to be unique. Check it before you publish or use it commercially.

Acceptable use

You may not use Vexel to create, upload or share content that:

• sexualises minors in any way, or is sexual content involving a real person without their consent;
• impersonates a real person or depicts them in a misleading way (deepfakes) without their consent, or is meant to deceive voters or the public;
• infringes copyright, trademarks, privacy or other rights, including uploading media or voices you have no right to use;
• harasses, threatens or incites hatred or violence against people or groups;
• is otherwise illegal where you or we are, or breaks the content rules of the model providers you use.

Enforcement

Model providers and our own checks may block prompts or outputs. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and report illegal content to the authorities. If we close your account without your fault, we refund unused paid credits.

Third-party services

Vexel routes generations to AI model providers and works with apps you connect. Their availability, quality and content rules are outside our control; we are not responsible for their services, only for how we use them for you.

Liability

• Vexel is provided as is, as a beta. We do not promise that it is uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
• Except where the law does not allow limits (such as for intent, gross negligence or injury), our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
• Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Vexel at any time and ask us to delete your account at support@vexel.video. We may end the service with 30 days' notice, refunding unused paid credits.

Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes we tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they apply; continuing to use Vexel after that means you accept them.

Law and disputes

Romanian law applies, without taking away the protection of the consumer law of the country you live in. Write to us first at support@vexel.video. Consumers in Romania can also contact the consumer protection authority ANPC or use its alternative dispute resolution (SAL). Courts in Bucharest, Romania have jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you the right to sue where you live.
